I will have to lead more and more courses in English and in French, and don’t really want to have two releases on my laptop.
Answer: Try the following:
- Install Revit in one language (such as English).
- Start and exit Revit.
- Go to C:\Users\All Users\Autodesk\RVT 2013\UserDataCache.
- Make a copy of Revit.ini, renaming it to reflect the language, such as ENU_revit.ini.
- Install Revit in another language (such as French), using a Language Pack available for download on autodesk.com.
- Start and exit this language-edition of Revit.
- Go to C:\Users\All Users\Autodesk\RVT 2013\UserDataCache.
- Make a copy of Revit.ini, renaming it to reflect the language, such as FRA_revit.ini.
Each time you want to switch from one language to another in Revit, do the following:
- Exit Revit.
- Copy <LANG>_revit.ini to C:\Users\All Users\Autodesk\RVT 2013\UserDataCache\revit.ini.
- Start Revit.
