Section Mark Visibility in Assembly Views

Are you wondering why you can’t see the section view symbols in your newly created Assembly view?  It’s likely that the section symbols are set to be hidden at scales as the courser scale of your Assembly View.  Here’s how you can set them to be seen:

1. In the Project Browser, expand the Assembly node.
2. Select the section views.
3. In the Properties Palette, change "Hide at View Scales coarser than" parameter to a scale that is courser than the scale of the Assembly View in which you need to see the section symbol.  For example, if the scale of your Plan Detail view is set to 1/2” = 1’-0”, then set the Section view’s “Hide at view scales courser than” parameter to be between 1/2” = 1’-0” and 1” – 400’.  The section symbols will now be visible in the Assembly View.
