Assign Inlet Filter

    Questions about applying settings?

    Select the filter near the inlet:

    Open the Materials quick edit dialog in ONE of the following ways:

    • Click Edit from the toolbar:

    • Click Edit from the Materials context panel:

    Material DB Name = My Materials

    Type = Resistance

    Name = Inlet-Filter

    Flow Direction: Click the ... button

    Click the Select Surface button on the Flow Direction pop-out dialog

    Select a surface on the filter normal to the flow.

    NoteNote: the arrow only indicates the normal direction, not the flow direction.

    Normal Dir 1 = Global Y

    Click Apply.
