Define the Excited Nodes

    Next, we must specify the nodes to which the forces will be applied.

    1. Click the Excited Nodes tab.
      • Select Node Number of Applied Excitation and type the first previously recorded node number into the adjacent field.
      • Select Force Input.
      • Type in the Scaling Factor for Amplitudes field.
    2. Click New to create a new node set.
      • Type 2  in the Excited Nodes Set ID dialog box and click OK.
      • Click Yes to save the changes.
      • Type the second previously recorded number into the Node Number of Applied Excitation field.
    3. Click New to create a new node set.
      • Type 3 in the Excited Nodes Set ID dialog box and click OK.
      • Click Yes to save the changes.
      • Type the third previously recorded number into the Node Number of Applied Excitation field.
    4. Click New to create a new node set.
      • Type 4  in the Excited Nodes Set ID dialog box and click OK.
      • Click Yes to save the changes.
      • Type the fourth previously recorded number into the Node Number of Applied Excitation field.
