Design Adviser analysis

    A Design Adviser analysis shows areas in the part that are likely to cause problems during other analyses.

    You can use the Design Adviser analysis to check the geometry of a model if it is large and complex, to find fine features such as text and fillets, or areas of thicknesses which may cause problems with other analyses.

    Running a Design Adviser analysis

    1. Open a model.
    2. Click File:Simulation_Moldflow/enu/2012/Help/1Adviser/106_Analysis_Sequence/130_Design_Adviser_analysis/analysis_sequence_16.png (Home tab > Molding Process Setup panel > Analysis Wizard).
    3. Select the Design Adviser checkbox and then click Finished.
      Note: If any previous analyses have been performed, you will be asked if you want to save the results before you perform this analysis.
    4. Once the analysis has finished, the Summary pane appears.
    Note: Click File:Simulation_Moldflow/enu/2012/Help/1Adviser/106_Analysis_Sequence/130_Design_Adviser_analysis/abort_job.png (Home tab > Analysis panel > Job Manager > Abort Job) to abort the analysis.
