The available options are:
- Use global setting in advanced options
Select this option if you do not want to specify a local mold material in contact with this model feature.
- Select a different mold material
Select this option if you want to specify a local mold material, different to the mold material specified in the advanced options, in contact with this model feature.
Note Selecting a different mold material is a simple way to model the interface between the part and a mold insert, but you will get more accurate heat transfer results by modeling the insert as a separate volume.
