    No headers
Note The Microcellular molding analysis is not supported for 3D analysis technology.

This page of the Process Settings Wizard, which can be accessed by clicking (Home tab File:Simulation_Moldflow/enu/2013/Help/Insight/2464-Molding_2464/2755-Process_2755/ac.menuaro.gif Molding Process Setup panel File:Simulation_Moldflow/enu/2013/Help/Insight/2464-Molding_2464/2755-Process_2755/ac.menuaro.gif Process Settings), is used to specify Microcellular injection molding related process settings for the analysis sequence.

NoteSome of the items listed below may not be available on the current dialog. This is dependent on the mesh type, molding process and analysis sequence selected.

Volume filled at start of foamingSpecifies the percentage volume of the cavity to be filled with polymer. For example, for a 10% reduction in weight of the part, enter 90%.
Initial bubble radiusSpecifies the bubble radius before growth. The default value can be used in most cases.
Number of cells per volumeSpecifies a nucleation density value. The nucleation density, which can be determined from scanning electron microscope images of a molded part, is assumed to be constant throughout the part. The default value was determined from a test plaque molded with Polystyrene.
Initial gas concentrationSpecifies the percentage concentration of gas in the melt at the beginning of the process.
