Maximum number of transient mold temperature iterations for each time step

    Table of contents
    No headers

For each iteration, the temperature in the part is calculated and the heat flux is then used to calculate the temperature in the mold. This value is passed back to the part for a second calculation.

Enter the maximum number of times you would like the solver to re-calculate the temperature in the mold, for each time step. If the mold temperature convergence tolerance is reached before the maximum number of iterations, the solver will continue to the next time step. If, however, the solution is limited by the maximum number of iterations, you will receive an error message but the solver will continue to the next time step. If you receive 3 error messages, you will receive another error message and the calculation will stop.

The higher you set the maximum, the more likely the solver is to reach convergence.
