Coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) data

These inputs are used to specify the thermal expansion properties of the filler (fibers/filler). These CTE coefficients combine with the Mechanical Data model to account for variation in properties in the flow direction and transverse to the direction of flow.

Following are the Transversely Isotropic CTE coefficients:

Alpha 1

The thermal expansion coefficient in the flow direction.

Alpha 2

The thermal expansion coefficient in the transverse direction.
