Maximum number of load incrementation steps

    Table of contents
    No headers

Loads are applied as a series of steps in a large deflection analysis. For example, the first step could be 10% of the total load, the next 15% etc, until the entire load is fully applied. The number of steps that the program actually takes depends on the non-linearity of the problem. If a problem is highly linear, the analysis will reduce the step size and take more load steps.
