Create imperfection in model by applying

    For each of the three mode shapes determined from a buckling analysis automatically run prior to the large deflection analysis, specify the fraction of the nodal displacements to be applied as a geometry imperfection.

    A scaling factor of 0 means do not use this mode shape to apply an imperfection. A scaling factor of 1 means apply an imperfection of the same magnitude as the node displacements calculated for that mode shape. A scaling factor of 0.1, for example, means apply one-tenth of the displacements calculated for that mode shape.

    Note The geometry imperfection is applied only in memory as the solver runs-the actual part geometry as defined in your study will not be changed.
