Explanation

The fiber orientation prediction code has calculated the theoretical minimum value for the elastic modulus in 2nd principal direction (E2), if all fibers are aligned with the flow direction (<fully_aligned_E2_value>), using the micro-mechanics model selected in the solver parameters. The composite (matrix+fibers) Elastic modulus, 2nd principal direction (E2) value specified in the mechanical properties of the currently selected material is less than this theoretical minimum value which suggests the composite value is invalid.

Resolution

• Edit the current material and change the composite elastic modulus.
• Select a different material.
• If the material is from the Autodesk Simulation Moldflow materials database, contact Technical Support.
