** WARNING 99464 ** The ratio of the composite elastic modulus in the first principal direction to elastic modulus in the second principal direction (E1/E2) value ( composite E1 E2 ratio ) is higher than the fully aligned E1/E2 ( fully aligned E1 E2 ratio ) value. Check the material data and run the analysis again.

    Explanation

The fiber orientation prediction code has calculated the ratio of theoretical maximum elastic modulus in 1st principal direction (E1) value to theoretical minimum elastic modulus in 2nd principal direction (E2) value, if all fibers are aligned with the flow direction (<fully_aligned_E1_E2_ratio>), using the micro-mechanics model selected in the solver parameters. The ratio of the composite (matrix+fibers) Elastic modulus, 1st principal direction (E1) value to Elastic modulus, 2nd principal direction (E2) value specified in the mechanical properties of the currently selected material is greater than that calculated for fully aligned fibers which suggests one or both of the composite values is invalid.

    Resolution

    • Edit the current material and change the composite elastic moduli.
    • Select a different material.
    • If the material is from the Autodesk Simulation Moldflow materials database, contact Technical Support.
