The first such laminate is within element element number of first bad. This value should be between 0.2 and 0.5 for an isotropic material but could be greater than 0.5 for a fiber-filled material.

Explanation

The calculated Poisson's ratio (v12) value for the specified element is greater than 0.5 and therefore may be invalid. A Poisson's ratio greater than 0.5 may however be valid for some special fiber-filled materials.

Resolution

• Edit the mechanical properties for the current material.
• Select a different material.
• If the material is from the Autodesk Simulation Moldflow materials database, contact Technical Support.
