The heat convection between neighbouring nodes is calculated at each time step in the analysis. In doing so, the solution algorithm traces an upwind path in the direction opposite the velocity direction. The upwind algorithm has failed most likely due to high element aspect ratios in the mesh. If the number of these warnings is low, then the impact on the simulation accuracy will be negligible, nevertheless, the temperature result should be examined carefully to check for any anomalies such local cold spots.
