Bubble

    Table of contents
    No headers

A spherical, internal void caused by air or other gas trapped within a molded plastic product.

A bubble differs from a blister in that the bubble is contained within the part, whereas a blister is on or near the surface of the part and generally causes deformation of the surface. A bubble also differs from a void, which is developed as a vacuum during cooling.
