pattygaleFri Oct 19, 2012 4:41 amHi, Tim. I appreciate your willingness to help, and your expertise is certainly welcome and provides value to other Revit users. At the moment, I am heads-down documenting new features for our next big release, so it is difficult to find the time to write more on topography at the moment. If you feel so inclined, I invite you to add topics (use the "Create new page" function) either within the Site Design chapter of the Revit help, or in the Community area. With the topics drafted and in place, I can then review them and add links to connect them to relevant topics, etc, AND add them to our help source files so the info will be carried forward into the help for the next release. Having a draft to work from is quicker and easier than trying to find the time to write these topics from scratch. If you are willing and able, this would help greatly. No pressure...just write a topic or two when you have the time or feel inclined. And know that I will see them and will incorporate them into our source files as soon as I am able.
I have to say that, after years of just issuing online help in various formats over the past years and not being able to issue updates until the following year, I love being able to communicate with our users on a regular basis , and being able to respond to questions and make improvements to the help in a timely way. It feels more like a partnership than the "throw-it-over-the-wall" method we used to use. Thanks for being a willing partner in improving the Revit WikiHelp.
