I've been trying to get the sample surface link pkt file but there appears to be an issue with the download. Can you forward it to me, mike.smith@cansel.ca
I work for a Mechanical Design firm that is trying to utilize the piping calculations within revit. We are having some issues. Could you please email me at jeffo@designengineers.com for a better description of the problem.
Thank you very much
HotLipsWed Nov 30, 2011 9:55 amIn the getting started tutorials, the tutorial understanding the AutoCAD civil 3D user interface, Exercise 3 Using the Panorama Window, under the Rearranging the columns of a vista it says on number three to right-click the radius column heading and click the customize columns, I right clicked the radius column heading and it didn't have the customize columns to click. So what should i do?
thisismyidThu Dec 1, 2011 2:01 amHi Josh,
Is it possible to have a condition (under Decision) that would compare the elevation of origin point (or a target string) and (another) target string? i.e. I have a footway that runs next to the carriageway (on a separate profile) and I'd like to change the channel 'gully and kerb' subassembly to vary its shape depending whenever the footway is lower.
Cheers
Adam

mdsproutThu May 24, 2012 11:56 amJosh,
I would like to comment on the lack of useful information in content of the Autodesk Revit wiki.
From what I have seen I suspect the contributors have not used this product to actually produce working documents for construction.
We don't just make pretty pictures (models), we create a model to produce working documents and to have a significant grasp of the tool (revit) to create content for the model and documents is very benifical.
I have to say that the Revit wiki appears to be the work of several incompentent document writers. If you want to see some worthwhile program documentation look at the set of manuals that came with Autocad Version 14. It's my opinon those documents were writen by authors that knew what they were doing as construction documentors.

MichaelEmngler2285Sat Jun 9, 2012 3:10 amAccidently I made a huge Section Box.
Is there a way or a botton/check box to "Zoom to fit" the Section Box?
The same goes for the other "Crops" : View, Region Visible, Annotation.
Thank you,
Michael
