Creating a Project from the Application Menu

To create a project using a template

1. Press Ctrl+N.
2. In the New Project dialog, under Template file, do one of the following:
   • Select a template from the list.
   • Click Browse, navigate to the desired template (an RTE file), and click Open.

     Vasari provides several project templates, which reside in the Templates folder in the following location:

     • %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Autodesk\Vasari 2013
3. For Create new, click Project.
4. Click OK.

The software creates a new project, using the selected template as a starting point.

To create a project using default settings (no template)

1. New (Project).

OR

2. Press Ctrl+N.
3. In the New Project dialog, under Template file, select None.
4. For Create new, click Project.
5. Click OK.
6. In the Undefined System of Measurement dialog, select Imperial or Metric.

The software creates a new project, using the default settings.
