Specifying a Render Appearance Color

    No headers

To specify a color for a render appearance property, use the Color control on the Appearance asset in the Material Editor. See Changing the Appearance Properties of a Material. You can specify either a single color or an image file that defines a custom color, design, or pattern. This is accessed from the drop-down on the Image panel.

    • Single color: For the Color property, select Edit Color on the Color drop-down. Click the color swatch. On the Color dialog, select the color to use. Click OK. See Colors.
    • Image file: For the Color property, select the Image drop-down. Specify the desired image file and its display properties, or select Edit Image. See Specifying an Image File for a Render Appearance.
