When reviewing a conceptual energy analysis in the Results and Compare dialog, this chart compares estimated fuel use for HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) and domestic hot water usage. Major fuels include heating oil, natural gas, propane, and other resources.

The chart shows the percentage of total fuel use, costs, and therms for each end use. By identifying the end use that requires the most fuel, you can focus on strategies to reduce overall energy consumption for the project.

    Conversions: 1 therm = 100 kBtu = 105.5 MJ
