Session 22: AU2012 Sneak Peak

    Description:

    In this episode,  Zach Kron, Matt Jezyk and Nathan Miller will give us a sneak peak at some of the classes they are teaching at Autodesk University.  They will cover the latest developments in python scripting and Dynamo visual programming. Zach will also give us an over view of his class on complex parametric arrays and discuss various methods of repeating rigs.  If you are coming to AU, this class will get you started thinking about these topics and if you can’t make it to AU, you’ll still get a taste of some of the fascinating classes offered there.

     

    Learning Objectives:

    1. At the end of this session, participants will be able to drive family parameters programmatically in a sample exercise.
    1. Participants will be able to take advantage of external data to create geometry and drive parameters in a sample exercise.
    1. Participants will be able to identify repetition strategies based on design intent in a sample exercise.
    1. Participants will be able to explain repetition in the context of case studies of iconic existing buildings.
