Description: Happy New Year! In this session, we introduce FormIt, the first 3D conceptual building design app for the iPad. We also introduce some new features in the latest beta version of Vasari - incluing how FormIt and Vasari can share data in the cloud via Autodesk360. FormIt and Vasari Beta 2 were both released and introduced at Autodesk University this past November. FormIt is available for free from the Apple App store (for iPad only.) Vasari Beta 2 is available for download from http://autodeskvasari.com.
Learning Objectives:
- Create scaled, location-aware 3D building models in Autodesk FormIt
- Analyze space usage and the impact of shadows using Autodesk FormIt
- Share data between FormIt and Autodesk Vasari Beta 2 using Autodesk360 cloud services
- Interpret Solar Radiation results using the new graphical legend in Vasari Beta2
