Vault Licensing Troubleshooting Checklist
If you experience problems with Vault not being able to obtain a license try the following:
- If using a 64-bit operating system for the licensing manager, download and install an updated Network License Manager which supports IPv6. The update is availabl through Autodesk Product Support here.
- Check that the firewall on the licensing server is not blocking the Vault server from accessing the Network License Manager. This can be tested by temporarily turning off the firewall and attempting to log into Vault. If the login succeeds, you should create firewall rules to allow the Vault server to connect to the license server. More information regarding the Network License Manager is available here.
