Copy project standards from one project and apply them to another project.
Project standards include the following:
You can specify which standards to copy. Any object referenced by an object that will be copied is included in the transfer. For example, if you select a wall type and forget to copy the material, Revit copies it.
When using transfer project standard to update the standards in an existing project which is in use, it is sometimes preferable to rename the existing elements you wish to update before transfering. This is especially true for Text Styles, Dimensions Styles and Line Styles. The reason for this is that inside Revit these elements can be very difficult (sometimes impossible) to switch out with the new types. Some add-ins can help resolve this but if dimensions have been used in sketch mode or there are unused groups containing old line styles you will find that the select all in entire project tool will not see those elements.
