1. SuppressNewFeaturesWorkshop=
Setting this line to 1 will not show the New Features Workshop at startup; setting it to 0 will.
2. AllowPressAndDrag=
Setting this line to 1 will enable Press & Drag; setting it to 0 will disable Press & Drag.
3. TempDimFontSizeInPoints= N
N represents the size of the text. The default value is 8. To increase the size of the text, change the N valueto a larger number. A good starting point is twice the default value, or 16.
4. ShowViewCube=
If you wish to see the View Cube by default set this to 1; if you wish to turn off the View Cube at startup set this to 0.
5. UseGraphicsHardware=
This determines if Revit will launch with DirectX Hardware Acceleration by default. If you set it to 0 Hardware Acceleration will be disabled. If you set it to 1, Hardware Acceleration will be enabled. If you don’t see this line, by enabling acceleration in options it will be added to the Revit.ini.
6. SuppressGraphicsHardwareWarning=
Related to #5; if you do not wish to see the Hardware Acceleration warning below each time when modifying the Hardware Acceleration checkbox under options, set this value to 1.
7. SuppressShowMassWarning=
If you set this value to 1, Revit will not display the following dialog box when creating a mass when Show Mass is turned off:
8. TooltipAssistance=
There are 4 Tool Tip Assistance settings under options and 4 corresponding number values which are included below:
None - TooltipAssistance=0
Minimal – TooltipAssistance=1
Normal – TooltipAssistance=50
High - TooltipAssistance=99
9. DisplayRecentFilesPage=
If you would like to disable the Recent Files page set this value to 0. To enable set to 1.
10. Maximized=
If you want Revit to launch maximized and fill up the display set this variable to 1. Note that if you reduce the window size before you close it, Revit will set this back to 0 and remember the window size you reduced it to for the next launch.
