Have you ever been in a sketch mode and wished you could change types via the thumbnail previews in the Type Selector drop-down?  In Revit 2012 you can!  Creating a floor, for example:

    1. In the Architecture tab, click the Floor button to invoke the floor sketch mode.
    2. In the Properties Palette, click on the Type Selector.
    3. In the Type Selector drop-down, choose from among the thumbnail previews of the various available floor Types… during the sketch!
