Type Selector Back in the Ribbon

Some Revit users prefer to keep the Properties Palette closed, but they still want to have access to the Type Selector in the Ribbon.  In Revit 2012 that’s now possible:

1. Right-click on the Type Selector in the Properties Palette.
2. Choose “Add to Ribbon Modify Tab.”  Now the Type Selector drop-down will also be in the Ribbon.

Bonus tip: Use the default keyboard shortcut “PP” to toggle the visibility of the Properties Palette.
