Revit PTB - Revit como Underlay

Using a Revit link as an underlay can be a common workflow for architects and especially for engineers.  A link can be set to Halftone to distinguish it from the main model, but new work (model lines, for example) can still end up being obscured by geometry (walls, etc) in the link--making it difficult to see what you've drawn.  Revit 2012 solves this problem:

1. Open your Revit project.  In the Insert tab, click Link Revit.  Navigate to the Revit model you would like to use as an underlay.  Click Open.
2. In the View tab, click Visibility/Graphics (or type the keyboard shortcut “VG”).
3. Click the Revit Links tab.
4. Next to the Revit link that you just inserted, put a check in the Underlay checkbox.  Click OK.
5. The geometry in the link will now be halftone, and more importantly, it's a true underlay: the link geometry will not obscure new lines and edges.

O uso do Revit link com underlay pode ser um utilizado num processo de colaboraçào entre arquitetos e engenheiros.

Um arquivo em link pode ser configurado no modo halftone (meio tom de cinza) permitindo uma visualização diferenciada entre o modelo no qual se está trabalhando e o que está sendo utilizado como referencia, mas algumas vezes elementos do projeto podem sofrer problemas de visualilzação por serem parcialmente cobertos pelo arquivo referenciado, gerando probrema no processo de trabalho. O Revit 2012 resolve este problema:

1- Abra seu projeto no Revit. Na aba INSERT clique em LINK REVIT. Selecione o arquivo que voce deseja referenciar. Clique em OPEN.

2- Na aba VIEW, selecione VISIBILITY/GRAPHICS (ou tecle "VG").

3- Selecione a aba REVIT LINK.

4- Junto ao link de arquivo Revit que voce inseriu, clilque na caixa UNDERLAY. Clique OK.

5- A geometria do arquivo referenciado ficará em HALFTONE (meio tom de cinza), e o mais importante, se comportará realmente como um UNDERLAY onde a geometria não irá interferir nos objetos de projeto do seu arquivo RVT (linhas e bordas).
