Select All Instances

Want to select all instances of an element—either in the entire project or only those visible in the currently active view?

1. Select the family, or hover over it with your cursor.
2. Right-click, and choose “Select All Instances.”
3. Then choose either “In Entire Project” or “Visible in View.”

Bonus:  To select all elements in a view, including those hidden by element or category, use this tip while in Reveal Hidden Elements mode (the lightbulb in the View Control Bar).
