    Overview

The following examples illustrates how to highlight or locate a single surface. This is often useful if the meshing fails on a particular surface. Depending on the surface, you may then need to modify/simplify the CAD, or refine the mesh on it.

    Example

    The process is:

    Switch to Surface Selection

    Turn on the Selection List

Highlight ALL surfaces using the 'Select All' button

Within the Selection List, highlight all surface using the 'Shift' key. Then scroll to the surface in question and de-select it holding the 'ctrl' key.

Press the 'Deselect' button. This will leave just the desired surface highlighted which can be viewed easily by switching the View to Outline
