Moderation

    What is content moderation?

Content moderation is a review process where the Autodesk moderation team reads all of the new content and page modifications that people submit in the WikiHelp. After the review, the team either rejects the submissions or publishes it for everyone to see.

Why do you moderate my changes and additions?

We encourage community submissions to the WikiHelp, and strive to maintain the best user experience possible. To maintain quality in the content, we review all submissions for technical correctness, relevancy, and appropriate language. We do not publish posts that contain non-relevant content, spam, or profanity.

How long does it take to see my changes?

Your changes are saved as a draft page as soon as you click Save. Typically, draft pages are reviewed and published within two business days of submission. It is possible that more time is required, depending on the nature of the changes and the quantity of new content.

How do I submit changes for moderation?

If you are registered and you sign in to the Autodesk WikiHelp, you can post submissions in two ways:

    Upload video

Create a video page draft by uploading a video:

Click Video > Upload Video. The Video Upload page displays, where you can select a video from YouTube, or from your local system. For more information, see the Video Upload documentation.

    Create or edit pages

You can edit a page to correct, clarify, or add pertinent information.  Click the create a new draft link, which makes the page available for edits. Enter your edits and then click Save.

The Autodesk moderators review the new or changed page. If approved, the page is published for everyone to see!
